i have had this phone for 5 to 6 years maybe a little more the only thing i ever had to do was replace the battrey every one or two years maybe a bit more don't make alote of phone call took good care of of the phone the newer panasonic phones don't look like this one wonder if they work the same ? this phone is pretty basic easy set up has every thing you might what on a cordless phone
